The Nike Vaporfly 4, also known as the Vaporfly NEXT% 4, is a top choice to help you bring out your best on race day. Fine-tuned for optimal performance in distances ranging from the 10k up to the marathon, the Vaporfly 4 is a mile-eating machine that’s now even lighter than it’s previous version.

The Nike ZoomX midsole foam has been tweaked to offer a lighter, more responsive experience. This elite-level racing foam spans the full length of the midsole, giving you the best underfoot experience Nike can offer. Within the midsole is a full-length carbon-fiber Flyplate that sits at a higher angle than in the Vaporfly 3, this combines with a lower overall heel-to-toe offset to provide a propulsive feel to each stride. The responsive and bouncy feel, coupled with shaving off some weight, helps you feel race ready as soon as you lace-up

Around the heel you can see a slight bulge, helping to add a little more stability while shaving a little weight in other places. Up top is the engineered mesh upper, redesigned to reduce weight by reducing the size of the tongue and heel. Even with the reduction of these elements, the Vaporfly 4 upper fits like a glove, providing a consistent fit run after run.
