Our Return Policy
We believe in the products we sell and in the people who sell them. If you should have any trouble with an item purchased from Marathon Sports, simply come back and see us for a full refund or exchange.
Here’s what you need to know:
- You can return or exchange your purchase for any reason within 30 days of an online order delivery or a store purchase.
- Unworn product with its original packaging and receipt of purchase is eligible for a full refund.
- Used product, regardless of wear and tear, is eligible for exchange or store credit.
- Returns and exchanges are free, including return shipping for most orders.
Used Product
We want you to use the products you purchased from us. Real-world conditions can create unexpected experiences. We stand behind every purchase. If the product is not preforming as expected, come back to our store within 30 days, and one of our trained fitters will work to find a replacement. All products that have been worn are for exchange or store credit only.
Any used product will not receive a refund. If you would like a refund, the item must be unused and include all packaging, tags and be accompanied by a receipt of purchase within the past 30 days. Any cash refunds greater than $200 will be paid out from company HQ within 5 business days. Any credit card refunds will be processed on the spot.
Return Instructions
Return at a Store
You can take your items (including packaging and receipt of purchase) to any Marathon Sports store to initiate a return whether your item was purchased in-store or online through marathonsports.com.
Ship Your Return
If you prefer to ship your items back to us, begin the return process in our online returns portal.
You are also able to return any online purchase in-store if that is more convenient. You can take the items you want to return to any Marathon Sports store.
Return Packaging
All shoes must be returned in their original shoebox. We recommend packaging the shoebox inside another protective box or bag. Do not stick the shipping label directly onto the shoebox — any returns packaged this way will be considered a used product and store credit will be issued.
Return Shipping
We will provide you with a prepaid return label to send the shoes back to us free of charge. Please feel free to add any instructions in the notes portion of the return process. If you are making an exchange, please add a short message in the notes stating what you would like to exchange your item for. We can then place that item on hold for you, and once your return is received, we will send out the new item free of charge.
Free return shipping is only available for orders shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. Orders shipped to international, APO/FPO, Alaskan or Hawaiian addresses or U.S. territories are not eligible for the free return shipping offer.
Refund Processing
Any credit card refunds will be processed on the spot. The time it takes for the refund to be reconciled depends upon the speed of your financial institution. Generally speaking, this will be anywhere from 1-4 business days.
Any cash refunds greater than $200 will be paid out from company HQ within 5 business days.
