A High-Performance Trainer, Inspired by the Record-Breaking Super Shoe
There’s so much to love about the speed-inspired adidas Adizero Evo SL, it’s hard to decide what to mention first. We’ll get things rolling with the full-length Lightstrike Pro midsole, providing you with a lightweight and bouncy experience underfoot. Each stride feels well-cushioned and incredibly responsive thanks to the 39 mm/32 mm stack height, helping to optimize energy return throughout the run.
When you first lace up this super trainer, you can easily see the racing aesthetic it’s trying to create. The woven upper provides a more comfortable fit than the Adios Pro Evo 1, but keeps it feeling lightweight and speedy. adidas opted to use Continental Rubber as well as CL Rubber along the outsole, giving the Adizero Evo SL enhanced traction on a variety of surfaces. To cap it all off, adidas utilized at least 20% recycled content to craft this speedy thing, helping to reduce waste.

Probably my favorite running shoes ever
It may sound like hyperbole, but I think these are my favorite running shoes of all time. For context, I'm a "serious recreational" runner. I've done a number of marathons and some ultras. The Evo SL is just a joy to run in, so much so that I use it almost exclusively (except for races or intense speed sessions). So many shoes claim to be daily trainers that can pick up the pace, but this is the best at that I've tried. It's very comfortable and seems quite durable so far (with no noticeable loss of energy return). To top it all off it's substantially cheaper than most comparable options. A couple of caveats / downsides: I find it quite stable, but it's a high stack with a somewhat stripped-down upper, so it might not be ideal for newer / slower / heavier runners. But for my purposes my only qualms are (a) the laces are a bit thin and I wish they had a little give; and (b) the traction isn't great in wet weather. But I will genuinely keep buying and using these as long as I can get my hands on them.

upper issues fixed
I had issues with the non-woven shoe bunching at the toe and irritating my foot and had to return them. The woven version fixes all my issues, and is a great all-around shoe for easy runs, tempos, and long runs

Evo SL Woven
Thanks to the flexible woven upper and the absence of a rigid carbon plate, it transitions seamlessly from an energetic runner to an ultra-comfortable, breathable sneaker for all-day walking

Amazing shoe for a great price!
So much fun! My cadence automatically increased by 4-5 steps per minute whenever I ran in this shoe. It is a great everyday running shoe and is very comfortable on easy miles. However, the foam also has that extra bounce for a nice speed session. My feet tend to get a little bit warmer in these shoes compared to others so I do not like them too much for long runs.
