A High-Cushion Performance Trainer with Boston Flair
Topo’s best-selling performance trainer is back and sporting some Boston flair in the updated Specter 2. Built with a high stack of premium foam, this performance running shoe works well for daily training, longer workouts, or even racing. The Topo Specter increased the overall midsole height by around 2 mm, providing a more cushioned and comfortable experience underfoot. The midsole perks don’t stop there because this trainer has a new, full-length Pebax Powered® foam that is snappier and more responsive than ever.
To increase longevity, the Specter 2 features strategically placed rubber along the outsole, granting it enhanced durability as well as enhanced traction. To keep this running shoe feeling lightweight, Topo utilizes a breathable and ‘2nd Skin’ style upper, made with recycled materials and wrapping the foot securely. Topo shoes are known for roomy toe boxes and this performance shoe continues the precedent. This design allows your toes room to spread, resting in a more natural and comfortable position.

Topo Women's Specter 2 – Boston 2025
I’ve been running in the Topo Specter 2 for a few weeks now, and they’re quickly becoming one of my favorites. The fit is roomy in the toe box, snug in the heel, and super comfortable over long distances. The cushioning is soft but responsive—perfect for tempo runs and long efforts. I also love the lightweight feel and how breathable the upper is. The Boston 2025 edition design looks great too—subtle, but special. Highly recommend these for runners training for a marathon or looking for a daily trainer with a performance edge.

Favorite walking shoes ever!
I love these shoes! They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried. I can walk for hours or run and they feel like clouds, they are extremely light weight. I thought my Hoka’s were good, but after trying these I can’t go back. I was first drawn to these for the Boston Skyline and Boston stamped on the other side. I am from Boston and live on the West Coast. I am so glad I gave them I try, I love them!

First Timer
To be honest, I bought the shoe because it had the Boston skyline. However, after running in the shoe I REALLY LIKED it. It is responsive without being super cushy. I ran a 20 miler in it and had zero issues. Nice fit, nice ride. These are more than just eye candy for my feet!

So cool!!
This is my first pair of Topo shoes. They are super comfortable and cushy. I will definitely use them for around town, not sure I will run in these since they are white and my Boston shoes.

Very comfortable
This is the third edition I’ve bought of the Boston marathon topos. Definitely feels like more cushion and they are very comfortable to walk around in all day. The size of the sole is noticeably bigger than last years so seemed a little too much at first. But it’s very light weight and I got used to the bigger look. Love the design. They were also easy to wash and get back to a bright white after getting dirt and coffee spilled on them. I’ve gotten multiple compliments on them.

❤️Boston
Great shoe! Bought to run Boston just didn't have enough time to break in. Gives a lot of cushion without being heavy. The design is amazing got so many compliments. Only negative would be if shoe gets wet the blue color from the tongue runs into your socks.
