Pillowy ride
These shoes offer a lofty, cushiony ride which feels great on my tired feet and legs. However, they do not have a tongue, which means the laces come into direct contact with the top of my socked foot. Even with thick socks and loose laces, this creates friction while running and burns with every step. Also, the high loft of the sole makes the shoe unsafe for anything but perfectly smooth ground (such as a track). On the cobbled, brick, and broken sidewalks of my neighborhood, I must watch every step while wearing these shoes, or risk falling.
