An Elite Athlete-Approved Trail Shoe Built for Speed and Performance
Already a favorite among elite trail and endurance athletes, the Brooks Cascadia Elite is ready to propel you through even the toughest terrains. This performance-focused trail shoe is one-of-a-kind, offering durability and unmatched grip without sacrificing any speed, responsiveness, or comfort.
The Cascadia Elite’s responsiveness is due in part to the bouncy DNA GOLD 100% PEBA foam found in the midsole. This performance-oriented, energetic foam is paired with a carbon-infused Pebax SpeedVault+ trail plate for maximum energy return and propulsion as you ascend and descend trails.
Under the shoe, you’ll find a Vibram Megagrip Elite outsole ready to tackle any terrain you throw at it. This grippy outsole has gone through rigorous testing to ensure the best performance possible and keep you safe and secure on slippery terrain on race day.
The last thing athletes want to worry about during long endurance trail races is hot spots or discomfort around the foot. Fortunately, Brooks maximizes comfort in the Cascadia Elite with an engineered woven Matryx upper designed with Kevlar fibers. This flexible and ultra-light upper hugs the foot and offers a sock-like fit to reduce any excess weight or discomfort around the top of the foot. And with a PU coating on the yarn, the hydrophobic design repels sweat and water to keep you focused on the trail ahead of you.
