GOATed Long Run Shoe

Good slow run shoes
Overall good shoe. Tough to run hard/fast in but the max cushion really saves the legs on long runs. Great shoes to walk in also.

The Loftiest Kicks
Incredible. 5 stars. Rehabbing an ankle injury and taking these bad boys on a 9 mi run felt like a breeze. A week later I took an alternate pair of shoes, an old pair of Altra’s for a 10miler since I’ve been increasing long run mileage weekly, and my legs were thrashed in comparison to the GelNimbus. Good loft and new foam technologies really make a difference during the pounding of a long run.

Gel Nimbus Provides Superior Cushioning
I have plantar fasciaitus. This shoe is the only shie I wear for walks a mile or longer. No pain, super confort!

Consistent Comfort
I ran in a previous version of the Nimbus and really enjoyed the ride and was excited to try this version. The nimbus remains a very comfortable ride. I use it for those days when my feet and legs need a bit of pampering. That said, it’s not just for plodding along. The foam has a nice rebound that allows you to pick up the pace as needed. Nice job ASICS.

Love this shoe
Previously just used Asics for their racers. This shoe has opened up my feet (years behind the crowd...) to how comfortable trainers can be -- without needing to be squishy or bouncy. I really enjoy the Invincibles or the Cloudboom. But sometimes you just want super comfortable, durable easy effort shoes that don't need to be so squishy.

Comfortable shoes
Gel Nimbus is a great recovery shoes. It is like when you wear these and walk you getting a feeling of walking in the clouds. Unfortunately, I needed some support and these doesn’t work out well for me. I may look out for gel kayano.
