A Lightweight, Low-Drop Trainer Fitted With Guidance Technology
Altra expands their low-drop shoe selection with the new Altra Experience Form, a lightweight daily trainer with a lower offset and built-in GuideRail™ technology. Perfect for daily runs, the Experience Form works hard to cushion each step while encouraging natural foot placement.
To absorb the impact of those miles, Altra uses a lightweight Compression-molded EVA foam in the midsole, creating a comfortable and responsive toe-off experience. It also incorporates a mild rocker shape to help encourage forward motion for a more efficient and natural stride. Speaking of natural, you’ll find the signature FootShape™ fit in the Altra Experience Form, allowing your toes to spread naturally while also securing the midfoot.
There’s nothing wrong with needing a little help now and then, that’s why we love the GuideRail™ technology inside the Experience Form. It helps encourage natural foot placement, gently guiding you forward as needed without obstructing your stride. As you lace up these running shoes you’ll notice the lightweight, engineered mesh upper, helping to lower overall weight while increasing overall breathability.
The Altra Experience Form is a great choice for a variety of runners and wins us over with the roomy toe box and gentle guidance technology.

Love Altras!
Most of my shoes are Altras. After some ankle instability, I switched from my Escalantes to these. They are way more stabilizing, and cushiony. I’m used to wider toe boxes now, especially with the flexible knit of the Escalantes making more room for splay. I first bought these Forms in size 8, they fit pretty well. I bought a second pair in 8 in a different color and they were tighter. I took out the insole and that solved the issue. But I wondered if I should have gotten and 8.5. I just picked up another pair in 8.5 and they fit better. So be aware if you are more of a barefoot shoes person trying these for stability - they are excellent but you may want to go up half size and maybe remove the insole. I wear a pair at home, a pair at the gym, and a pair for road walking. I love them, but they’d be truly perfect if a little roomier in the toe box.

Perfect for me
These are the most comfortable running shoes ever for me and have the correct arch support and pronation correction. I love them and the roomier toe box, bit not too wide.i tried mine on in store as I noticed that that same size in different color fit smaller.
