For National Hydration day, we’ve reached out to local sports nutritionists and dietitians to share their favorite fun summery ways to stay hydrated! Here’s how to get your hydration and electrolytes with a sweet popsicle! Registered Dietitian Demsina Babazadeh shows how she uses Nuun Sport and Nuun Energy tabs to make a fizzy Berry Lemonade Nuun Seltzer!


  • 1 tablet watermelon Nuun Energy
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup watermelon juice (see directions for making your own!)
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Popsicle molds
  • Blender
  • Strainer
  • Whisk


  • Dissolve 1 tablet of Nuun Energy Watermelon in 1/2 cup of water. Let it sit for 5 minutes and using a whisk, make sure it is all dissolved.
  • Next, to your juice* add zest of one lime and your dissolved Nuun.
  • Whisk together until combined and separate into 6 popsicle molds!
  • Freeze for at least 24 hours and Enjoy.

*How to make your own watermelon juice:

  • cut up about 3 cups of fresh, seedless watermelon into chunks.
  • Place into blender and blend on high for 1 minute until puréed.
  • Once puréed place a strainer over a large bowl and pour watermelon purée. You can use a spoon or small spatula to push some purée through the strainer until it’s all clear watermelon juice!
