They used all of their resources and time to develop the hylo Impact with that goal in mind. By keeping their focus narrow they have been able to develop materials and design specifically for the Impact.
A B Corp is a certification given by B-Lab to for-profit companies verifying their work is creating a positive social impact. The assessment takes into account multiple factors including social sustainability, environmental performance standards, and accountability. The certification lasts for three years at which point the company will be reassessed. Other notable companies that have B Corp status are Patagonia and Toms Shoes.
