The Pegasus Plus 2 builds on the success of its predecessor, delivering a responsive everyday trainer designed for every type of run. But in the second iteration, Nike incorporates even more of its unique running shoe technology for even more spring, comfort, and propulsion than ever before.

The midsole is made of lightweight ZoomX foam, which is paired with a curved forefoot Air Zoom unit to propel you forward with every stride. The exposed Air Zoom unit uses a redesigned silhouette to keep you moving with more energy than in the original Pegasus Plus.

The upper also saw some major upgrades to improve fit, comfort, and your overall running experience. The new streamlined multi-zoned mesh enhances breathability and security throughout the entire foot. A modified forefoot fit ensures that while the rest of the upper securely hugs the foot, you can also enjoy a more natural, accommodating fit around the toes.

Finally, Nike’s well-established waffle design outsole guarantees exceptional grip and long-lasting durability. The second iteration of the shoe also features flex grooves throughout this outsole for improved flexibility, ground feel, and zonal traction.
