A Propulsive Ride That Can Tackle Any Trail

Take to the trails in the newly reimagined HOKA Tecton X 2; a premium, carbon-plated trail shoe for all distances. This updated version has seen its share of improvements and is ready to shine brighter than the original fan favorite that preceded it.

One of the big changes you’ll notice is the all-new Matryx® upper. This lightweight, breathable upper is intrinsically hydrophobic, meaning it will help repel water to keep your feet nice and dry in the elements. The high-contrast Matryx® upper also sports a lay-flat, gusseted tongue to help keep out unwanted debris during your run. 

For cushioning, the HOKA Tecton X 2 uses their PROFLY-X™ construction, a dual-density midsole foam that has an excellent combination of durability and energy return. The top layer is generally softer to allow for a more comfortable experience underfoot, while the bottom layer is slightly denser for added resilience and propulsion. Moving to the exterior of the Tecton X 2 we have an outsole made from Vibram® Megagrip with Litebase, one of the most trustworthy outsole materials out there. It’s lightweight, super grippy, and is built to last as your rack up those miles on the trail.

A phrase that still rings true is, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The Tecton X 2 echoes this sentiment by keeping the parallel carbon fiber plates that made the first iteration a fan favorite. These plates work in tandem to offer a snappy ride on varied terrain, allowing you to perform at your best no matter the conditions.
