A New Generation of the Much-Loved Classic
A reliable fan-favorite, the Brooks Ghost 17 returns with minimal updates, making sure your favorite running shoe keeps up with the pack without changing its identity. The midsole utilizes DNA Loft v3, a nitrogen-infused foam that cushions each stride while staying fairly lightweight. The Ghost 17 adds an extra three millimeters of foam under the heel and one millimeter under the forefoot, giving you a little extra cushioning and impact protection.
Flex grooves are found throughout the midsole to add a touch of flexibility, easing you through heel-to-toe transitions for a smoother running experience. Another update comes as an updated double jacquard air mesh upper with kickback collar for comfort. This upper enhances breathability while adding structure and comfort to your fit. To wrap things up nicely, the Ghost 17 is a certified CarbonNeutral® product, meaning it offsets carbon emissions to zero.

Great running shoe AND all around!
I've been wearing Ghosts and Ghost MAXs for most days of the past two years. They're super comfortable (even with the default insole... but I do usually swap mine for a different arch support level) and hold up really well. Tread shows signs of wear quickly but ultimately holds up. I put these shoes in the wash often and they always come out looking good as new, never any issues with the construction. Especially love this colorway! true to the picture

Great daily training shoe
The Ghost 17 is an excellent training shoe that provides simple cushioning and stability. It is a lightweight design. Color options are good too.

Did not work
Every few years I have to try to find a new sneaker seeings how they all changed! I have been a brooks fan for awhile now but my glycerin changes forced me to have to try another style. The ghost is very popular so I gave it a shot ! No luck! It started to hurt my arch pretty quickly!
