Treat Your Feet to Cushy Comfort

The Brooks Glycerin 22 is a plush, high-cushion trainer that’s seen a complete midsole upgrade this time around. This iteration features new DNA Tuned cushioning, a finely-tuned, nitrogen-infused foam that creates different zones of comfort. Larger cells in the heel give you a softer feeling while the tightly packed cells create a more responsive experience at toe-off.

Brooks didn’t stop at a midsole redesign, they kept the upgrades coming with an all-new double-jacquard mesh upper. This upper feels more luxurious than the previous warp-knit material, adding thick cushion around your heel and ankle. To help increase the longevity of the Glycerin 22, strategically placed rubber is used along the outsole, enhancing the overall traction and durability.

Brooks Glycerine 22

Like the colors on the shoe, fairly comfortable although haven't had a chance yet to really tax the shoe.

Great shoes

First and supported since I have very very flat feet that pronate

Another great addition to the Brooks family [Staff Review]

I traditionally prefer soft, plush, high-cushion shoes and the Glycerin continues to be an excellent option in that category. The new midsole has an excellent initial foot-feel and continues to hold its comfort mid-run and post-run. As someone with a wider foot, I found the upper to be accommodating and pleasant.

Solid daily miles

Initial impression is a highly cushioned trainer with a high heel toe offset that is meant for cruising. The upper is plush to the point of needing to lace looser and wear thinner socks to offset lack of breathability. Midsole has plenty of cush rear and in the forefoot with just a touch of rebound. This is not a bouncy shoe, but it also doesn't feel like a slab of foam that seems popular right now with max trainers. Outsole feels grippy enough for wet or lightly snowy pavement. Overall the feel seems sturdy and comfortable for lots of easy and recovery miles.
