Men's Brooks Ghost Max 2

Great experience!

What a great underrated shoe! I have chronic Achilles tendon issues and I am a nurse on my feet all the time. Couple weeks with these on and no pain!

Having had polio and feet troubles from it I have always searched for comfortable quality shoes. Having tried others over the years I always have come back to Brooks and have probably tried 10 pairs. These are a solid comfortable walking shoe although I found them slightly smaller to size than the others I have worn.

As a runner, I have been shopping Marathon Sports for the last decade. They are hands down the best shoe store. The salespeople actually know shoes, they look at your running stride and gait, then bring hand-selected shoes to you. You can even take them for a quick run around the neighborhood. This is how the shoe buying experience should be!

Mostly use for walking long distances, and they are supportive, comfortable, durable, and look great.

The brooks ghost max is the best shoes for walking with good looking

After wearing these shoes for a few weeks, my foot pain and fatigue was reduced so much that I canceled my scheduled foot surgery. Highly recommend to anyone with foot pain. I've put a little over 25 miles on them in a week or two, and must say they are about the most comfortable running shoes I've ever experienced. My foot is very large (both length and width) and they fit perfectly.

I recently purchased the Ghost Max 2 after having worn the Max (1) for just over a year. While providing a wide heel and a rocking sole, I found them to be less exaggerated than my Hokas which, for me have become a bit more extreme. I've been also off road quite a bit on moderate hikes and they perform well.These Ghost 2's are also a step up in pillowy comfort with support for me from the previous pair and I plan to buy a second pair so that I can switch off between them to prolong their wear. Lastly, I'm someone with a nerve condition, foot drop, and therefore have to be very particular with my selection of shoes. They have accommodated me and the brace that I attach to the right shoe beautifully.

I usually buy Brooks Ghost, and I really like them. Especially the durability of the sole. This pair of Max 2 is comfortable, but the sole is a is much thinner than the regular Ghost. I'm not sure yet if the Max 2 will be as durable.
