The Asics Gel-Cumulus 27 stays consistent to what it’s delivered in the past: soft cushioning with buttery smooth transitions. FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning combined with strategically placed PureGEL™ technology work together to create softer landings and energetic toe-offs. These two features blended together make the Cumulus 27 into a balanced daily trainer that can be used for a variety of runs.
One of the more noticeable updates to this version is the new upper redesign. Still crafted with engineered mesh, the upper features a little extra padding when compared to the Gel-Cumulus 26, particularly around the heel collar. The bottom of the Cumulus 27 features the relatively new FLUIDRIDE™ outsole, delivering more comfort and traction to each step while encouraging smooth transitions. To provide your with immediate step-in cushioning, Asics uses an OrthoLite™ X-30 sockliner, ensuring a comfortable experience as soon as possible.

Great running shoe, excellent store
These have been great shoes for me. I bought two pair on last sale! They are comfortable and have held up great. Marathon Sports is excellent retail store to get fitted; their staff are so knowledgable and helpful at ensuring you get the right fit. It’s the only place I buy my running shoes now.
