This variation has all the cushioning you’ve come to love but with a full-grain, work-ready leather upper. Underneath you’ll notice the familiar feel of the luxurious Altra EGO™ MAX midsole. Along the outsole, you’ll find a slip-resistant rubber outsole with Altra’s FootPod™ Technology.
Altra is known for its zero drop, Balanced Cushioning™ platform, and the Torin 5 Leather incorporates this feature as well. By positioning your heel and forefoot an equal distance from the ground, the Torin 5 Leather helps encourage better form and alignment over time.

Great shoe, interesting aesthetics
This is a great shoe, but the look is definitely something that is only for some people. It's very athletic, but trying to appear as a bit more formal. Great, comfortable wider Altra fit though. Consistent with other Torin models.
