Asics Unisex Megablast

Really enjoying the Megablast for long runs. This shoe is amazingly lightweight for its size and the foam strikes a perfect balance between being too soft and too firm.

Very smooth and bouncy

Good cushion while feeling fast. Large toe box. Not sure if it is sizing related, but my foot tends to slide forward when running on a decline and my toes touch the front of the shoe. More of an annoyance than anything. Overall great pair of runners that balance cushion and speed.

Excellent. Great for long runs

These shoes are both comfortable and snappy enough to feel both fast and cushioned for long runs.

Have done a few tempo runs and 2 long runs and these are my new race day shoes!

These shoes are a jack of all trades. I'd choose them if I had a one-pair rotation. They're even comfortable for recovery runs, and they can pick up the pace when you push. They look extremely durable — I wouldn't be surprised to run over 600 miles in them.

Great shoe with lots of durability. Can do everything!

I'm really liking these shoes so far. It took a few runs to start truly feeling comfortable in them. I'm using them for marathon training and I love them for the tempo/interval runs. The bouncy foam makes the harder runs feel fun and allows me to pick up the pace easier. I'm still building up the longer runs, so we'll see how they handle those and whether I can wear them for the marathon!

This is my second pair of Megablasts and I absolutely love them!!

I was excited to try the Megablast based on all the reviews. So far they have lived up to the hype. Lightweight, super bouncy and fun to run in. I’ve been using them primarily for long runs and tempo runs this block. You could even use these as a race day option.

Great fit, suits training from recovery run, LSD to tempo

El mejor supershoes sin placa que hay en el mercado ..

Vwry bouncy and comfortable

These running shoes have a great fit and always make me want to go for a run

The Megablast is a lightweight, springy shoe that actually made me faster, especially down hills. The shoes spring me forward. Definitely the best running shoes I’ve ever had.

The fit was a problem for my wider, higher volume feet. It’s made for runners with narrow feet.

I’ve been using the ASICS Megablast mainly for easy runs, tempo workouts, and occasional gym sessions. The cushioning feels soft and comfortable while still providing enough responsiveness when I pick up the pace during tempo runs. The ride is smooth, and the shoe handles different types of training well. For easy days, it offers excellent comfort, and for faster efforts, it doesn’t feel overly bulky. I also wear it for gym workouts, where it provides good comfort and support. Overall, the Megablast is a versatile and enjoyable daily trainer that works well for runners looking for a highly cushioned shoe that can handle more than just easy miles.

These shoes are a quiver killer. They do it all. They are snappy and light, responsive and supportive. I have about 200 miles in them already and they still feel fresh. Everything from 400s on the track to long easy recovery runs, they are a standout.

These running shoes are so comfortable

They aren't that wide, but the cushioning is amazing

nice running shoes

best shoes in the market

I run 20-30 miles a week and these are great for my running and having some bounce.

These are incredibly comfortable and amazing running shoes

Nice shoes just the wrong size. They take a little bit long to do the refund process as well overall it is OK.

The Megablast is the best non-plated shoe ever. Only other contender is the Dynafish with the argument on price. But the Megablast has proven long durability which offsets the higher price. One tip: if the upper feels tight on your toes - just swap out the thick Megablast insole to a thinner insole. I put in a 2mm insole and it basically almost gave me a full 1/2 size more room.

Fantastic , super comfortable and smooth

3rd pair . Light weight great energy return and protective

These are comfortable running shoes that are great for running.

I have three pairs of this shoes. It’s the best running shoe out there and great for racing

Worked out well for me on 2 marathons. Newer to running.

Comfort, fast and stylish

Impressive bounce and responsiveness, but the high-stack design feels less forgiving on easy miles. Durability is solid, making it great for fast training rather than casual jogging.

Greatest trainer of all times

This is actually my second pair of Asics Megablasts. I love these for long runs and they are perfect for a marathon. I used my last pair to run the Philadelphia marathon and I felt so fresh during and after the race.

These are excellent running shoes with great cushioning.

Prompt delivery from Marathon. The Megablast is a great running shoe, although a bit pricey.

These running shoes offer excellent stability and plush cushioning.

Just a great pair if shoes, delivered quickly at a good price.

Awesome product! One of the best running shoes ever. Great quality and performance. S/O to marathon sports for the speedy delivery! Marathon Sports has excellet stock, new #1 spot for buying running shoes!

Awesome product! One of the best running shoes ever. Great quality and performance. S/O to marathon sports for the speedy delivery! Marathon Sports has excellet stock, new #1 spot for buying running shoes!

These running shoes are so light and great.

These ASICS Megablast are super comfortable and cushiony. They’re lightweight, breathable, and perfect for daily runs. The cushioning is soft but responsive, and they fit true to size. Very happy with my purchase!

Very comfortable shoes! Great experience

light, great energy return and protective

These running shoes have great cushioning

These are excellent running shoes for LSD training.

This megablast are good for all type run, there are light, comfy and fast

Absolutely blown away by the ASICS Megablast! The FF Turbo² midsole delivers insane bounce and cushioning—soft yet responsive, making every run feel effortless. Lightweight despite the high stack, breathable upper, and solid traction. Perfect for daily training, long runs, and even faster paces. My new go-to shoe!

These are the best running shoes I've ever had

Super lightweight and bouncy. A shoe that I really look forward to putting on for my runs. Upper does a great job of locking my foot in place. Able to handle a wide variety of paces. I’ve worn them at paces from 9:00 to 6:00 per mile, and performance has been great. They run about a quarter size long, which is something to keep in mind if your foot is between sizes.

nice running shoes

These are the best non-carbon running shoes

These running shoes are lightweight and comfortable to wear.

I love the cushion of the Novablast 5 but the distance I get from the Superblast 2. The Megablast is the perfect combination of both! I personally find Asics Unisex sized shoes a bit small so I size up an extra .5

These are comfortable running shoes

Great light springy shoe! Love! True to size.

These are great running shoes for training.

These are very lightweight running shoes that are comfortable to run in

Megablast is a great unplated trainer best suited to uptempo runs. It has a new midsole with a springy, energetic ride that feels better the faster you go. I was impressed with the all-round performance and comfort, however a little bit on the expensive side.

Spongier than my superblast 2… or maybe they are just old

ASICS really hit the nail on the head with this one. The Megablast is a fun and propulsive shoe with great cushioning on a stable platform. Good grip on wet and dry surfaces as expected. It has quickly become my favorite shoe in rotation. My only complaint is the price. If the foam performance lasts longer than the average shoe these days, which supposedly it will, then it’d be worth it though. I’d also note that the upper is extremely breathable. That seems to be the trend these days, but is not always desirable for those of us that live in colder climates. Even wool socks have trouble insulating when the temps drop.

Love this shoe. Super comfortable. Able to do easy runs all the way up to threshold. These are worth the price.

These running shoes are even more comfortable than the Superblast.

Good for long runs as well as picking up the pace. Fit is true to size

Very comfortable and bouncy trainer. Perfect for anything from an easy run to interval workout.

My favorite daily trainer of all time. Super stable on easy runs but holds up well on hard tempo work. 300 miles in the shoes are still in great shape

It's definitely an upgrade over the SUPERBLAST, but keep in mind the fit is narrow. good.

These are excellent running shoes for picking up speed

Was really good one for long run

My go to for a Saturday long run during my marathon block!

Put 70 miles in on these and they might be the best non plated shoes out there now. Super light and bouncy, feeling very fast. My pinky toe has some issue with the upper but very very minor.

If ASICS Superblast 2 and Adidas Evo SL had a child, this shoe would the result. It's got the dimensions of the SB2 with the bounce of the Evo SL (with more stability). It's such a joy to put these on and go for a long run from easy to marathon pace. This shoe can even handle interval sessions! Really versatile shoe that can do everything. Keep in mind that the shoe felt narrow and the upper felt stiff and tight, but after breaking in 25 miles or so, it started to shape my feet nicely and I don't have any fit problems anymore. I did size up 0.5 size to US 8.0 like I did with the Superblast 2 because I have 2E width feet. All in all, it's an amazing super trainer. It's the most expensive training shoes I've bought, but I think it'll live to 500+ miles easy. Highly recommend if you're in the budget for the Megablast!

This is a light and really good running shoe.

I love them. Great shoe. Very bouncy and great for longer runs.

Shoe is a ton of fun at all paces. Like to rotate shoes and want to throw the rotation of the window and use these for everything.

Could really feel the return on each step during my run. Ran these on a race and did better than expected. Shoes felt great throughout. Also versatile in the types of runs you can do with it. Ordered half a size up as a women’s size for also someone who has wide feet

Honestly, this is what I wanted the Superblast to be. It feels a bit more substantial than the Novablast, but softer than the Superblast, making it a perfect fit for me for easy, recovery, and long runs for me. I think I could do some tempo or threshold stuff for this but I already have too many shoes that would do at least a little better. But for me this is one of the best daily trainers on the market. Compared to the Evo SL, I think both would be great daily trainers or a one-shoe-fits-all if you're traveling, with the Evo handling tempo a bit better and the Megablast handling the long/easy a bit better.

Great shoe!

ASICS has created maybe the best running shoe ever with these. They're bouncy like a super shoe but don't have a carbon plate, super stable over long distances, and incredibly comfortable. I actually opted to wear them for my latest marathon just to see how they held up, and they did remarkably well (and helped me secure a PB). Can't wait to go through many of these for as long as ASICS makes them!

Fun shoe and not as firm as the superblast. Time will tell on durability but so far so good.

This has been my go to shoes ever since I bought it. It easily picks up the pace that you wanted.

Great product amazing bounce back

The comfort and bounce combination is great for easy and tempo efforts.

I’ve been running in the ASICS Megablast for a while now, and I have to say I really like them. The shoe feels light on foot but still gives enough cushioning to handle longer runs without beating up my legs. The midsole has that nice bounce that keeps the ride fun, and it doesn’t feel flat even after a few sessions. What stood out to me the most is the versatility — it feels responsive enough for uptempo efforts but also comfortable for easy mileage. The fit was surprisingly good too, even though I usually worry about shoes being too narrow; this one gave me enough space without feeling sloppy. Overall, it’s a solid daily trainer with a nice mix of comfort and performance. Definitely a shoe I’d keep in my rotation.

This shoe can be used for everything that you want to do. I love them for my long runs with some different paced workouts mixed in during. I can go from running easy pace to 10K pace without sacrificing anything that I want in a shoe.

Great shoe—bouncier than the Superblast 2 and overall a well-designed upgrade for all paces. Slightly less stability

I am a big fan of the ASICS Superblast 2, and the Megablast is a fun step up from that. It’s more noticeably bouncy, and felt like a little bit more of a boost during runs of any pace. The laces took a few tries to get right without biting, and the toe box might be a hair narrower than my Superblast 2s. An overall excellent shoe!

Has everything you need at all paces from recovery to strides! Top tier shoe imo

Asics took what was a great super trainer in the Superblast 2 and made it even better softening the firm ride a bit and adding some bounce that really makes it a pleasure to run in no matter the pace. This shoe could be a rotation killer in that it has the versatility to work well for daily training, tempo, of even at race pace with its smooth, lightweight, bouncy ride with crazy energy return. Fit is more dialed in for me as well than the SB2. It is like a max cushioned race shoe. Asics really knocked this one out of the park!

Best ASICS shoes I’ve ever owned. I loved the SB2’s but these are better, especially for long runs.

More bounce than the Superblast 2. A bit less stable than the SB2. I really enjoyed these. Going to be using them for the Philly marathon in November.

The ASICS megablast is a home run. It takes everything you liked about the superblast and makes it just a tad faster. I wouldn’t necessarily use the shoe for recovery runs, but it’s definitely part of my routine for everything from easy runs to marathon speed work as a truly do it all shoe. If I were to change one thing, the upper is noticeably thinner and less durable than the superblasts.

I’ve got three bad boys at the very top of my shelf along with my other primary marathon window training shoes. My favorite thing about the Megablasts is that I know I always have something to fall back on when feeling unsure of what to run in that day. For me, their sweet spot is 8 - 10 mile marathon pace runs with slower warm ups and cool downs. They keep my legs feeling fresh and slot in perfectly with the Novablast and Superblast. Asics really found a strong rotation this time and these are a must have for any runner.

Liked this shoe ran 2 long runs in then:: they seemed fun to run in and didn’t Disapoint..

Very comfortable, very light. I've got nearly 400 miles on a pair of SuperBlast 2's, and instead of buying another pair, I decided to upgrade to MegaBlasts. I am in no way disappointed. These definitely feel like ASICS could have called these the SuperBlast 3, since the feel is so similar but newer/modernized. Either way, I'm very impressed with these shoes and highly recommend them.

Light and lively and protective ! True to size

It's light and nice

It’s the Goldilocks of shoes, not too form, not to soft-just right. Toe box is a tad on the narrow side compared to the superblast.

Can’t wait to wear these for training. It’s going to be perfect for my marathon build. The color looks fantastic. Glad I was able to get a pair of these before they sold out.

The Megablast is a lighter, bouncier shoe than the Superblast, which has been my favorite shoe ever since it came out. I find myself reaching for the Megablast over the Superblast for long runs and tempo efforts. The upper is lightweight and resembles the upper of Asics' racing shoes. It fit TTS.

It’s super cushioned, alive, springy, and it’s comfortable as all heck. Comparable to Hoka Skyward X, for a comfortable shoe that’ll eat up miles. However, the Hoka skyward x is more stable in terms of steady pace, while the Megablast can push the pace comfortably.

Love them, great for long runs, easy runs and recovery runs

I never got along with the Superblast series for some reason & felt that they were a little too firm for long runs, but I've really been loving the Megablast. Upper is definitely a more racer type fit (race laces and the upper is more see-through/"plasticky" vs. Superblast) but it didn't bother me during long runs. Fit was pretty good, but I did feel like it ran a tad bit narrow. Midsole is way more bouncy vs. the Superblast in my experience. It's softer but I wouldn't compare it to something as soft as the Vomero Plus. There's definitely more of a feeling of compression & energy return with the Megablast that I'm really enjoying especially for long run sessions where there might be some efforts involved. The outsole is definitely sticky/tacky and a little loud. It reminds me a bit of Pumagrip (though definitely not as sticky), but more sticky compared to Asics other shoes. I haven't had to run in the rain or in wet conditions, but I have a feeling it would do well. The only downside I would say for the shoes would just be the price. It's definitely pricey, but I would pay the extra $25 over the Superblast just for the better experience.

I’m using these for my 5k recovery runs. I find asics too stable and bulky for long runs as it starts to affect my landing including my knee. But these have enough absorption for a calm and slow recovery run between 9:30-13:00 pace. Had to size half down as they are gigantic. Usually wear a 10 and 9.5 was good. Very durable shoe that should last me a very long time.

Snappy, plush but not too soft, responsive. Maybe the perfect shoe?!

I bought them in 2025, but returned them because it was very strange running in them. However, I gave them another shot and love them. They are a combination of the Vomero Plus and Evo SL: firm bounce, light, and fun.

I’m enjoying the Megablast for longer, slower runs. The max cushion definitely feels protective of joints at the cost of speed. I’m a heavier runner so the foam sinks substantially with my heel strike.

Amazing shoe but in between sizes. This is the goat but toe box volume is low on

Premium feel and I have enjoyed using it so far. Only have run about 30 miles at this point.

I used for tempo run, long run with a marathon or half pace. This shoes can used for every speed workout.

Amazing shoe definitely new favorite. Only problem is the more narrow toe box which I tape my toes now just for extra measure. If they made it as wide as the nova or super then 5 stars.

Purchased these to run in a autumn marathon. I am a Superblast veteran, 1 and 2, and could not resist. Out of box, the Megablasts are astonishingly light but also strikingly simple in design. None of the sculpting seen with the Superblast and Novablast. The purple looks good, and I am sucker for any colorway related to major athletics event. The sawtooth laces stand out and dialing the fit in (with a thin sock) took no time. I say a thin sock, because the Megablast does not fit as generously as the Superblast. My feet are maybe a little on the narrow side, and I noticed immediately the toe box had a lower ceiling. Oddly the width, as reviewers have noted, does not bother me. I have over 30 miles on the shoe. The first few workouts were fartleks, and WOW, the Megablast lives up to its name. No issues at all - the FF Turbo Squared foam wants you to go faster. It is a stable ride, too. My only issue came on my 17-mile marathon pace practice run. After the run I was surprised to see my right foot's middle and fourth/ring toe bloodied. Not sure what happened as nothing bothered me on the run. In over 30 years of running, it was a first. My guess is the toe bumper is too structured and may need a thicker sock, which means my size 13s are too small. I will still use them for my 20-mile marathon practice run but may look elsewhere for race day of my toes suffer again. No sign of wear, yet, on the upper, midsole, or outsole. And the Asicsgrip has me thinking of Pumagrip...and seems to offer better traction than I remember with the Superblast 2. I am a clydesdale - 6'2" and 210lbs. And I am a rarity as I have low arches but supinate.

Great shoe for faster paces. Can’t really run slow in it. 4 stars since I have a low foot bridge, which means the upper scrunches at the lace lace loops.

Great bounce and comfy. A little unstable ride and the toe box very tight.

The shoe is awesome, but our order had a defect in the toe. Marathon accepted a return and will be sending out a replacemnet, fingers crossed.

Shiopwas slow. Links in emails usually do not work

I personally feel these shoes are bulky and generally just very “stompy” with a really stiff landing. It seems like it takes a lot to break-in and caused a lot of knee and feet pain. ASICS tend to have this bulge around the midfoot that just adds stress to the feet. This and the superblast amongst other asics trainers aren’t really for me.

Bummed because everyone is raving about these shoes, but my typical Asics size is too big and the .5 size down is too small. I also don't really love the upper. Either way, these didn't work for me, even enough to take them for a short test drive. I'd still recommend others try them because I have a ton of friends who LOVE them.

As a fan of the Superblast 2 and Megablast, the Superblast 3 really doesn’t work for me. It’s too soft. It almost feels like I’m running through sand. I’ll stick to the Megablast.

Wanted to like these shoes. Just putting them on they were rubbing on my pinky toes. Would have had bad blisters running in them. Exchanged for superblast
