Meet Topo’s First High-Performance Carbon Plated Super Shoe

Topo first introduced the Pro Series – a high-performance running shoe line – with the release of the Specter 3. Now, the brand is adding to the lineup with the Specter Elite, its first ever carbon plated racing shoe.

The Specter Elite is all about speed, propulsion, and energy return, and this focus is evident in nearly every element of the shoe. The RevFoam ATPU midsole cushioning is lightweight, springy, and responsive to effortlessly carry you through to the finish line on race day. This cushioning works alongside a rigid carbon fiber plate to maximize energy and propulsion in every step.

An aggressive rocker profile aids in smooth, seamless transitions, while a wide base keeps you feeling stable and secure until the very last mile. Up top, an incredibly lightweight engineered mesh wraps the foot, and a racer tongue design maintains a sleek, secure profile.

Topo incorporates lots of new and innovative technology in this racing shoe, but it also doesn’t sacrifice some of the classic Topo features we’ve come to know and love. A low 5 mm drop helps maintain natural landings and alignment, while a wide toe box gives you all the space you need, even as feet swell throughout long-distance races.
