Great, But Needs Improvement
This is my second pair of this brand of hiking shoe. My first pair had a different name and color but it's the exact same shoe. This time, I got it at half price, a $56 saving... thanks Marathon! PROS: Comfortable and stylish. I really like the upper sole material, the fit is great, and foot protection is good. They don't overly stretch out. Plus, I love the bright colors; beige and khaki is not my thing. They add an inch to your height, which I also like. CONS: My main complaint is the lug sole: it's not robust enough. The grip is good for the first few months, but the knobs on the sole should be larger. They're small and shallow so they wear out very quickly. If you're an avid hiker like myself, you'll need to replace these every 5-6 months, and that's a big expense if you're on a budget like me. Overall, a great hiking shoe for trail runners or day-hikers who do 4-8 mile hikes. Great beginner shoe for novices and light hikers, too.

Shoes
They felt good on my feet. I gave them away because they were not wide enough
