The Saucony Ride 17, one of the most popular daily trainers, has been reinvented with upgraded midsole foam, a slightly wider base, and an engineered mesh upper featuring a midfoot wrap. This version of the Saucony Ride utilizes PWRRUN+ foam for the first time, bringing you a softer and bouncier landing with 10% more energy return than before. This foam is also used in the sockliner, giving you immediate comfort right as you lace them up.
The Saucony Ride 17 uses a breathable, engineered mesh upper with a flexible material along the midfoot. This material helps lock down the midfoot, giving you a secure fit so you can run with confidence. The tongue and collar are moderately padded with a breathable material to help increase overall comfort. Along the outsole, you’ll find strategically placed blown rubber to help increase the longevity and durability of the Ride 17. Finally, the base has been slightly widened to give you some inherent stability without changing how you move.

I'm Wearing Them Now!
I have been wearing this model of Saucony for years. They're very comfortable, fit well, and look nice. Unfortunately, the later version, the 18's, are not as good so I will stick with these while I can still get them.

Saucony Women's Ride 17
This is my 5th "Ride". I have worn 2 Ride 15, 2 Ride 16 and now the Ride 17. Consistently, the fit and size remain "true", these are light, comfortable and provide the performance I have come to expect. An underrated great shoe!

Much harder ride that expected
I heard great things about the Saucony Ride 17 and picked up a pair at a great sale price. For a higher stack shoe, these are pretty rigid and have a much harder and unforgiving landing than I expected. Great for someone looking for a bit more support but not for anyone wanting a lot of cushion. Would not recommend for someone with a mid- forefoot strike.
