Amazing shoes
Lots of durability and grip along with stability. Rare for a supershoe.

Fast Shoe!!
The Puma Men’s Deviate Nitro Elite exceeded my expectations! Incredibly lightweight, responsive, and built for speed, they offer amazing energy return and comfort on every run. The fit is true to size and snug yet breathable, and the grip is reliable even on slick roads. Easily one of the best racing shoes I’ve owned and definitely a game-changer for performance!

Very stable for a race shoe
I was in the market for a new race shoe and this was the best I tried between many. Very light, great fit, and most of all it feels very stable and doesn't have the "wobbly heel" issue that many race shoes have, which hurts my ankles below 10k pace. Compared to the Puma DN3, it has more room in the toebox, so for me it fits well true to size, while I sized up half in the DN3.

The Best Race Shoe On The Market
Puma's technology is well ahead of their competitors'. The foam feels snappy and comfortable, it took around 20-25 miles to break in, and once that happened the shoe transformed into a speed machine that is still comfortable. I recommend this shoe to runners of all abilities. It works great at slower speeds, and similarly works great at high speeds. My favorite shoe of 2025.

Wants to go fast!
This is my first carbon plated racing shoe, so I don’t have anything to compare to other than my daily trainers. These shoes are amazing, very light weight and bouncy. These shoes want to go fast, very fast. I’ve knocked off 30 seconds per mile while running in these. Extremely comfortable, but wouldn’t recommend for walking or easy miles.

Super comfortable running shoe.
When I went on my first run, I was super comfortable on the first 5 miles and the rest of the journey was great… outstanding product.. looking forward to the next saga..

Truly Elite: your next great shoe
The Deviate Elite series has been been everything from good (the 2's), to really good (the 1's) and, now, top of the line super shoe. The Elite 3's are amazing: a light, responsive supershoe that isn't mushy but you can feel returning energy and propelling you forward. Huge win here!

Great shoe
Has some great pop and is super nimble, which is is nice in this max stack time. The shoe is also very breathable and the grip is outstanding. The tongue is the only part I didn't love as it was thin and flimsy.

Very fast and stable. Great shoe for speed training. I would go up half size.

Great shoes
Very good speed training shoes. Would recommend going up a half size. Little tight in the toe box.

Best Deviate Elite Yet
I have run in two previous versions of the Deviate Elite and this is definitely the best one yet. The previous editions had a lower stack height and the shoe felt more ideal for half marathons and under. Not the case here, it is more cushioned and has a very pronounced bounce to the ride. Also, might be the grippiest shoe I’ve run in: running quick over snow, ice, and rain has been no problem. Closest shoe comparison is the Vaporfly 3. DNE 3 is bouncier, grippier, and feels relatively stable when you are cruising at marathon pace. Vaporfly 3 is lighter and more aggressive. Two potential criticisms to this shoe: the upper is thin and picks up dirt easily, and the jury is still out on the long term durability. I found the previous versions lost a lot of their pop after 100 miles. But overall, this shoe is well worth it. For reference I am a forefoot striker and weigh around 170. No fit problems.
