The biggest update to the New Balance 860 v14 is the new Stability Plane technology found in the midsole, supporting your stride without obstructing it. This new stability technology features a wider platform with sidewalls to create a guidance frame for your feet. Another trait we can’t help but love is the 3% bio-based Fresh Foam X. The midsole has a softer, more responsive top layer with a supportive and durable bottom layer. This combination of midsole foam creates a more comfortable and supportive running experience that’s designed to last.
The new 860 v14 features a supportive, synthetic upper to create a breathable and secure fit. New Balance also partnered with Repreve for a more sustainable material alternative, utilizing recycled bottles for materials. To finish things off, New Balance uses a blown rubber outsole for premium traction with minimal weight. The new 860 v14 is a great do-it-all trainer for those looking for some extra support.

New Balance X 860
Since I use these for cycling I appreciate the firmness coupled with cushioning. Relieves the pressure incurred on the bottom of my feet pedaling.

Very Pleased with Marathon Sports
The sneakers are extremely comfortable and great for both walking and running. They fit perfectly so I am thrilled. The Marathon site is very easy to use and the delivery was done in just a few days.

Solid and comfortable
This 860s are a solid shoe with a nice midsole . This is my first stability shoe and it doesn’t feel uncomfortable in anyway. I did a light jog in them and the foam felt nice and protective. The standard width did feel narrow so I had to exchange for a wider

These are just as great as previous versions
I've been using New Balance's Fresh Foam X 860 shoes for several years now, and I believe this is the third or fourth version I've been running in. These feel just as great as previous versions, and I'm in the same size and width as I was previously. If you've liked these shoes in the past, I would continue to recommend!

So Comfortable
I love the New Balance Fresh Foam 860 series. I was having foot pain and my podiatrist recommended Marathon Sports so that I could be fitted properly based on his recommendation. The NB 860 series has pretty much been my go to ever since.
