Mount To Coast is ready to help you go the distance with its all-new super trainer, the C1. Built for long-distance runs, the C1 uses a lightweight design and a high stack of responsive foam to deliver unmatched comfort mile after mile.
The energy return and bounce in this super trainer is due, in part, to the unique dual-layer midsole design. The top layer features a supercritical, performance-focused CircleCELL foam that delivers responsiveness and energy return through each stride. Closer to the ground, the rubberized EVA foam ensures stable landings and long-lasting durability.
The TUNEDFIT Dual Lacing System is one of the most unique features found in Mount To Coast Shoes, and the C1 incorporates this one-of-a-kind lacing system to provide a more customized fit. The separate lace adjustments, along with a mesh upper, ensure a secure lockdown that you can adjust to meet your fit needs and preferences.
With lots of plush cushioning, the C1 takes some measures to counteract the instability associated with a high stack height and ensure you feel stable and grounded. A better Superblast 2
I bought these as an easy day/long run shoe for my wife and couldn't be happier. For those of you who prefer the firmer feel of the Asics Superblast 2 over the softer 3, look no further. I would hesitate to call the C1 a "super trainer" like MtC does, as it is not a fast shoe that can probably only be pushed to half-marathon pace if you want it bad enough. However, it's a darn good easy and long run option that can handle any amount of miles you throw at it. I do not care how many ShoeTubers label the dual lacing system a gimmick, because it is an absolute gamechanger for my wife who often struggles with fit issues. The build quality is superb and the silhouette is clean like all MtC offerings. While on the firmer side compared to something like the Nike Vomero Plus, it is far more stable and has a better upper (looking at you and that non-gusseted tongue, Nike). To sum it up with an anology, the C1 is a Lexus LS400 in shoe form. Built to look good, to cruise comfortably, and to outlast it's competition.

Best running shoes out there!
These shoes are so great for my long road runs and highly recommend them. They are super light and I love the dual shoe lace option. I have very wide feet and the toe box has plenty of room. No blisters, ever and I can't wait to try their trail shoes.
