A smooth, Reliable, and cushioned Ride, Now Ready for Both Rain and Shine

With a smooth, effortless ride and lots of cushioning, it’s easy to understand how the Clifton has earned its reputation as one of HOKA’s softest, most dependable trainers. The 11th iteration maintains much of what made the Clifton such a fan favorite, all while adding some minor tweaks and adjustments for maximum comfort.

HOKA kept the midsole essentially the same from the previous iteration, using a high stack of compression-molded EVA foam for soft, cushy landings. Paired with a smooth MetaRocker geometry, this midsole guides you effortlessly through each and every stride.

While the midsole is all about soft and luxurious cushioning, the Clifton 11 keeps you feeling secure and stable due to the Active Foot Frame technology. The raised sidewalls cradle the feet, preventing any excess sliding or movement.

The Clifton GTX shares lots of similarities with its non-waterproof counterpart. However, a refined GORE-TEX upper design makes the Clifton 11 GTX ready for anything. A closed mesh upper is finished with a water-repellent coating to keep your feet dry, even as you traverse through rain, snow, or puddles. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane secures the foot, keeping the shoe light and breathable while effectively sealing out water and mud.

Like the standard Clifton 11, the Clifton 11 GTX has a durabrasion rubber outsole for more durability. However, this version also adds some traction pods for more grip and confidence on wet, slippery terrain. New adjustable speed laces make the shoe easy to slip on for even more added convenience. So from the bottom of the shoe through to the upper, you’ll be ready to handle anything the forecast throws at you.
