Diadora made some changes to the midsole formula to provide a better base. They increased the density of ANIMA PBX material from 0.15 g/cm³ to 0.9. The increase in the density provides you with a firmer, more supportive base to minimize energy loss at foot strike. This improved overall energy return by 5% for an even more propulsive ride. They were also able to shave 20 grams off the shoe.

The carbon-filled plate is designed for maximum energy return. The design is achieved by creating an extreme shape to maximize the curvature of the plate. This, along with the shaping in the medial part of the spike, combines to enhance your speed at every turn.
