The running shoe that refuses to slow down, the Asics Novablast 4 is back again to show why it’s one of the most popular trainers out there. This time around we see some updates but the Novablast 4 still maintains a lot of the fan-favorite features from the previous iteration.
Looking underfoot, the midsole cushioning is now made with FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam, giving you the same soft yet bouncy experience but now made with more renewable resources. Whether you’re looking to go slow or pick up the pace, the Asics Novablast 4 provides a cushioned and energetic experience you can’t help but love.
To help increase the longevity of the shoe, Asics uses AHAR™ outsole rubber that beefs up its traction and durability. Pushing things further, The Novablast 4 outsole is designed with inspiration drawn from a trampoline, generating maximum bounce as you propel forward.
To cap it off, you’ll notice the engineered woven upper when lacing up and how comfortable it wraps the foot. This well-ventilated material stretches with your foot as you move and is built to go the distance. The gusseted tongue is padded and features a unique wing construction, improving fit and reducing the chance of sliding.
The Novablast 4 is a great choice for a variety of runs, bringing high-performance and comfort to each stride.

A must try everyday trainer/all purpose shoe
Maximum comfort and perfect balance of cushion and structure. This is my third pair that I purchased and hope this shoe never changes.

Great upgrade
This is a great update from the previous version. The shoes are comfortable and the toe-box is roomy. I found them versatile for running at different paces.

Cushioned and Springy!
I love how light / springy these shoes are while still being a good long run shoe. First experience with ASICS has been wonderful so far!! Also had the best customer service experience from Marathon Sports.

Great training sneakers! Love them for my long runs!
This is a great training sneaker. It’s supportive, comfortable, and responsive. I was maybe hoping for a bit more springy-ness but I love training in this shoe (long distance) and have had no pain/injuries while using this pair. I tried these for a speed workout but didn’t like the way it felt, so I have stuck to mostly long distance training.

Best Everyday Running Shoes
This is my second paid of novablasts, and I absolutely love them. I considered swapping to the superblast, but glad I stuck to this tried and true shoe!

Got To Running Shoe
Novablast's are my go to. They're great for long runs to speed workouts. The bounce and cushion are great. There's not too much cushion where you sink and the bounce assists in a runners forward motion.

Lives up to the hype
Love these shoes. Very stable and comfortable while maintaining speed. I’ve used them for a long run up to 18 miles and for tempo runs or at the track. Very versatile and enjoyable.

Good show, lightweight
Very light and good for running. The upper part of the shoe has less fabric than most shoes which is what makes it lighter. Lots of cushioning which is great if you have high arches. Rating it a 4 star only because it slips ever so slightly on the back, but if you change the lace loop it works better.

Not For Me
The support was not for me. It felt less supportive in the arch of my foot & my ankles. I will likely return to the nimbus series.
