The Nimbus Lite 2 combines a soft underfoot experience with a lightweight design for daily running miles. This style of trainer features a series of recycled materials while using fewer resources for a more eco-friendly design approach. Nearly the entire upper of the GEL-NIMBUS® LITE 2 is formed with recycled materials that help your feet breathe better throughout your run. Simultaneously, the FLYTEFOAM® midsole technology incorporates Cellulose Nanofiber, a sustainable material that increases the durability of the foam. Designed with an advanced software program that helps improve the shoe’s cushioning properties, this model also references the design language of the GEL-NIMBUS® series while creating a lighter and softer running experience. Meanwhile, the GEL® technology cushioning in the forefoot and rearfoot improves comfort while increasing shock absorption. Additionally, the ASICS LITE Rubber outsole increases the shoe’s durability and prolongs the mileage you get out of your running shoes. Awesome shoes!!! (Staff Review)
These are currently my favorite shoes! The Nimbus Lite II have a great bouncy feel, and the wide platform gives some extra stability. The midsole is soft and forgiving without being overly squishy, making this is a very responsive shoe for the amount of cushion! This shoe feels good at paces ranging from easy to tempo. The weight of this shoe is also a great improvement over some other Asics models. As with most Asics running shoes, this shoe runs narrower which fits my feet well. The upper is on the thicker side, but that means a well padded and comfortable heel and tongue. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a fun new daily trainer!

Great sneakers!
Love these sneakers - so light and just the right amount of cushioning. I've been an asics fan for many years now and enjoyed the Nimbus Lite 1's and now equally loving the 2's!

Incredible Cushion! (Staff Review)
The Nimbus lite 2 is always a great option for a runner who wants a light feel but doesn't want to sacrifice the cushion. I found the shoe to feel smooth running on my longer days, but it also had enough of a responsive feel to pick up the pace. The Nimbus lite 2 is definitely an upgrade from the previous version with both fit and feel. The upper is also made of recycled materials. If you are looking for an eco-friendly shoe, this one is for you! A plus is this colorway is AWESOME! I love the soft feel of this shoe and would highly recommend giving it a try.
