Roomy and stompy
I had a pair of the Olympus 4s and loved them. These work well and continue the monster truck running experience, though feel slightly stiffer.

Great service and perfect shoe
I was looking for a pair of trail runners to use for ultralight backpacking and tried on 15 pair of shoes at 4 different stores. The staff at Runner's Alley spent a lot of time with me answering questions and making recommendations. Settled on the Altra Olympus 5 and very happy so far. Doing some hiking with a full backpack and they perform great.

The Best Olympus
Its performance is incredible, on technical and soft terrain, always with good support and protection, the fit is ideal, I highly recommend it

Better for hiking than running
Love these shoes for fast packing and hiking. I wear them running occasionally, but prefer something with more flexibility. These are my 4th pair of O5s, and I've had the tread delaminating issue on 2 of them.
