The Lightest Ultraboost Ever.

It’s time for a new generation of BOOST, and the adidas Ultraboost Light is here to deliver. The classic high-cushion trainer has returned with a new midsole foam that’s 30% lighter than previous versions, providing epic energy with each stride. 

The Ultraboost Light maintains some of the classic features you’ve come to know and love like the sock-like upper. Made from at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic and 50% recycled polyester, this PRIMEKNIT+ textile upper offers a cushy fit that won’t slip. This fit is also due in part to the additional padding in the heel counter, allowing for a comfortable fit that won’t rub. The Ultraboost Light tends to fit true to size, but thanks to the stretchy upper, you can go down a half size if you prefer a more snug fit. 

The Light BOOST material is throughout the length of the shoe but is heavily concentrated in the heel, allowing for a softer rear-foot landing. As we move toward the midsole and forefoot we encounter less Light BOOST and we get into the Linear Energy Push system. This LEP system helps stiffen the shoe a bit to create a more responsive and snappy feel. The combination of the updated midsole foam and LEP system creates a cushioned ride that guides you forward through the gait cycle.

Underneath, adidas continues the tried and true Continental™ Better Rubber for premium traction on all kinds of surfaces, wet or dry. This additional rubber along the outsole helps extend the life of the Ultraboost Light as well, making this a running shoe you can depend on time and time again.
