A Max Cushion Super Trainer with a Soft Underfoot Experience
The HOKA Skyward X is packed full of lightweight, cushy midsole foam to offer a plush running experience that we can’t help but love.
Directly underfoot is the soft and resilient PEBA foam that creates a soft yet lively feel that’s housed in a supercritical EVA rocker frame. This combination of foam technology works together to cushion each step and provide a stable base as you stack up mileage. To finish off the midsole, the HOKA Skyward X utilizes a convex carbon fiber plate, creating a suspension system that compresses and rebounds to return more energy to each stride.
To keep your feet feeling secure and comfortable, HOKA uses a flat-knit upper with zonal engineering. This design fits snug to your foot shape and increases overall breathability, keeping your feet cool on warmer days. Lastly, the outsole features durable, high-abrasion rubber to help make your running shoes last even longer.
The HOKA Skyward X is a great high-cushion running shoe that works well for recovery days, daily training, or walking around town.

Hoka Skyward X - reliable everyday trainer
I bought three pairs of Skyward X in succession. They serve me well for everyday runs of any distance. At first, the shoes felt somewhat heavy and bulky. But with time, you find your rhythm and they feel comfortable and protective. When I put on racing shoes afterwards I am flying.

Great Easy Mile/Long Run Shoe if the the fit is right for you
I 've been using the Ciehlo X1 for half marathons and loving them. So wanted to the give Skyward a shot as a result.Ran in them 3 days in a row(about 25 miles total)and my legs felt great/ the support and cushioning was amazing after each run But they are narrow and the toe box is small/gave me blisters. The toe box did stretch out a bit but after 45 miles but the right shoe is worn down/offers Little to no support now.Great shoe for some but definitely not for heavy runners with slightly wide feet.
