ASICS Unisex Metaspeed Sky Paris

This is my 3rd pair. Really good race shoes. I would get a 4th if I needed another pair. I did half size 0.5 It is a bit narrower in the front. 10/10 recommend for speed workout or race day. A bit hard in beginning but just got to break them in.

The hype around these shoes is real. Took them out for a half-marathon distance training run and had no problem holding target marathon pace. I have also set 5k and 10k PRs in these shoes. They do run very narrow in the middle of the foot.

These shoes are so light and feel so comfortable on foot right out of the box.

Just ran a half in them, terrific bounce. Planning to wear them for my full marathon later this fall.

Was thrilled to get these on sale. So responsive, so fun to run in. First pair of carbon fiber shoes but I love them.

Great shoe for longer fast efforts

Love the combination of both the spring and the cushion in these shoes. Cornering isn't easy but if the primary goal is going straight and fast then this is the ticket.

The reason that I got the Metaspped sky it’s because I’m getting ready for the TCS NY City Marathon and I’m training with this shoes and they are They are ready to go.

My feet in the shoes became one after just the first mile. I've bought hundreds of running shoes and these are the best by far.

This shoe is amazingly fast. Great midsole with a lot of energy return. Super light and great option for race day or tempo workout!

my alphafly's broke right a week before a big half marathon race and I bought these last minute - so glad that I did. absolutely love these. super light, bouncy, and they feel really fast. they also happen to be stunning and, in my opinion, the best looking racing shoes on the market right now. 9/10

Very lightweight and poppy. I have used it for short intervals and tempo efforts and really enjoyed it. I’m excited to race in it for an 5k and half marathon. The aqua color is gorgeous!

Incredibly lightweight, natural, smooth ride that begs you to go fast. Be careful of the narrow midfoot though!

I would say these are the best shoe on the market in terms of comfort and speed. The reviews and positive feedback on the shoes are warranted and I can attest to that. Hard to beat ASICS engineered foam and technology. Purchasing on marathon sports was also a great experience. Thanks for the personal message to my item when it arrived :)! Did a 21 and 14 mile long run at MP prior to marathon and felt great. Loved for the marathon! Sizes up compared to my easy run Novablasts

I tried them on an interval run, and I was genuinely impressed by their performance. They feel incredibly lightweight, almost like feathers on my feet, which made it easier to maintain speed without feeling weighed down. Despite their lightness, they provide an impressive amount of energy return, giving me an extra boost with each stride. This combination of lightness and responsiveness made my run feel smoother, more efficient, and less taxing on my legs, especially during the high-intensity intervals.

Shoes are zippy! Definitely will feel different than a trainer but still comfortable and have held up well! Would recommend to anyone looking for a super shoe.

My first use of these shoes was a 2:46 marathon PR. I had another pair from a different retailer that was true to size but wrecked my toenails. I ended up purchasing these a half size larger and had no issues. These are amazing race shoes.

Fantastic shoe! Very very light, nice ‘pop’ feeling making them feel very fast. Comfortable and fit well. Only comment is that the collar may cause blisters on achilles.

I just raced in them for the first time this past weekend. They are awesome shoes and are super fast! They are fairly comfortable considering how firm they are.

Really great customer service. Returned because I don't think this unisex sizing is great, in general. I think it would fit most men well or women with wide feet.

I finally found the shoe to rival my alphaflys. It’s extremely comfortable and provides a perfect amount of energy return. I wouldn’t recommend these to a brand new runner as they do have some level of a learning curve, but they are definitely made for comfortable speed over the long distance. To me they Run “slightly large” me, but others have said the opposite so I think it’s rather individualized. Using the Alphafly as comparrison though (size 10.5), the sky Paris seems to be a bit more roomy up front, which is why I would need a size 10. 100% worth a try if you’re on the fence. Also keep an eye on the Edge!

Perfect racing shoe. Light weight and fast. Shoe runs a little small as compared to other ASICS (I’m a women’s 10.5 in this and usually a 9.5 or 10 in Novablast and GelNimbus)

One of the lightest super shoe. Give you good propulsion while accommodating a wide range of speed for a supershoe. Have been running in them at pace ranging from 6:30 - 10 min per mile and felt comfortable all the time. The more traditional upper is definitely more comfortable compares to uppers like Adios Pro 3

I've really enjoyed training and racing in this lightweight supershoe from ASICS. There's plenty of the excellent FF Turbo + foam, which protects the legs on long workouts and gives excellent energy return. The best parts though, are the upper and the weight. The shoe simply disappears underfoot and allows me to focus on the workout or race. I have about 65 miles on mine, including one full marathon (which was also PR) and the durability is fantastic so far. The foam still feels new, the outsole rubber is in excellent shape and there are no problems with the upper or laces. I will for sure be using this as my racing shoe moving forward.

I’ve done 2 long runs and 2 workouts with these and they are a treat. They are so light, yet have plenty of protection. I’ll be using them for a very hilly marathon in November. The only negative is the tongues slips down a bit but I didn’t have any adverse issues from it.

After testing the ASICS Metaspeed Sky Paris, it became clear that this model outshines the Edge, especially for longer distances like the marathon. At slower, easy paces, I did feel some pressure on the internal part of my left arch, though it wasn’t an issue on my right foot. However, at marathon pace and faster, the Sky felt fantastic—stable, cushioned, and responsive, making it ideal for long runs or races. The shoe's forefoot cushioning is excellent, providing more comfort and support than the Edge, especially over longer miles. Overall, the Metaspeed Sky is my go-to for marathons and fast-paced efforts. Pros: Great cushioning, especially under the forefoot. Performs well at marathon pace and faster. I've been using this for intervals and races, and hoping to make this my marathon shoe for the year. I tried the Alphafly 3 and returned them because they weren't stable enough in my ankle. These are the perfect balance of stable, light, and bouncy. The AF3 felt bouncier than these, but I'd rather be a bit more comfortable than get that extra pop

Really enjoyed them. Took a bit to break them in, but after about 3-4 runs, felt great and super snappy. Excellent for interval workouts on the track, and planning to use them for my next marathon.

I just recently ran my first half-marathon ever in these shoes. The price of the shoes were definitely on high side of most, but the performance I had was worth the high price tag. I ran a time much faster and at a pace I didn't think was possible. These shoes are worth every penny and dollar you will spend.

I found them exceptional. The responsive cushioning and lightweight design enhanced my speed and comfort. Ideal for long-distance runs, they provided excellent traction on varied surfaces. Highly recommend for competitive runners.

The Metaspeed Sky Paris is a great shoe. It looks good, it performs well, is light and is comfortable. This shoe, unlike others, has a wide toe box and fits true to size. Also unlike other super shoes is not ridiculous to walk in, there no crazy design leading to the feeling of instability at sub race speeds. I always have concerns over the durability of mesh uppers, but after 80 miles, they are a little flexed out of shape but show no signs of giving. I’m not the fastest runner, and I will take any speed increase I can get, but I’m not sure these are the fastest shoe out there. They are very snappy and I feel the forward propulsion, but it’s not like some other brands. Where these excel are the comfort, and for regular racers, I think these offer the best compromise of speed and being capable of moving happily at the end of a hard race. I believe these will be the shoes I’m running Berlin and Chicago in this fall

Super light, bouncy and responsive. Incredibly fun and exciting race shoe. I chose the Sky Paris aver the Edge Paris because the Sky is supposed to be better for “stride” runners and the Edge is more optimized for “cadence” runners. I think I’m a “stride” runner in Asics categorization because my cadence tends to remain about the same at any pace (about 175 steps per minute), and it’s mainly my stride length that increases at faster paces. I also am a midfoot striker if that makes a difference. I haven’t tried the Edge Paris, but all I can say is that the Sky Paris just seems to work amazingly for my running style and mechanics. My other favorite racing shoe is the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3, and my favorite trainer is the Superblast. The Sky Paris is bouncier and has more energy return than both. Less of a rocker than EP3, and a softer feel underfoot. More propulsive but less stable than Superblast.

It’s mind blowing how light it is. That with the energy return from carbon plate and the FF Turbo+, you’re gonna be having a good time on your race day!

These shoes have a lot of bounce and make running an absolute joy.

It is the best racing racing supershoe I got. I thought it needed a break in period, but after running 2 sessions of 8k, I realized my feet felt great it in. On the 3rd run, I ran it for a 21k race and it performed beyond my expectations. No blisters like I had on the Nike VP3. It also looks to be more durable! Awesome purchase!

I have the original Metaspeed Sky and it was lacking the bounce I was looking for in a marathon racing shoe. The Metaspeed Sky Paris has the perfect amount of bounce and firmness, and performs excellent at faster paces. The upper is comfortable and the shoe was TTS for me. The shoe felt fast and I know they will keep me fresh at longer distances. I'll definitely be racing in these for my next marathon!

These ran a bit short compared to other Asics I've worn (novablast and superblast) but once I got the right size these were great.

I find the metaspeed sky Paris to be an improvement of the metaspeed sky+ in weight, comfort, and speed. The super light weight also gives it versatility for going down to 10K pace as well as marathon pace. I find the sky line seems to favor forefoot strikers and the edge line seems to favor heel strikers. Recommended!

Excellent cushioning and very springy. Best used at faster speeds to benefit from the carbon plate. Reasonable toebox and forefoot cushioning for forefoot strikers. Slightly asymmetric cushioning to prevent pronation, so not ideal for supinators.

Quite good. Cushiony with good springy feel. Extremely light but upper seems durable. High midsole stack but compresses so still get some ground feel.

Comfortable. Not as quick as a vapor/alphafly. But still good, and light.

I wanted to like these shoes, and I am an avid fan of the Novablasts. The heel's sole diameter is about a quarter.

I felt this pushed me too far forward even just standing still. Even just trotting in the treadmill this just made me feel unstable.
