Asics reduced the stack height in the Magic Speed 5, bringing you closer to the ground and delivering a more stable ride. But while there is less foam, the shoe doesn’t sacrifice bounce and comfort. The FF LEAP cushioning in the midsole keeps you moving forward with lots of energy return in each step. Underneath, a bottom layer of FF BLAST PLUS enhances stability and durability, all while keeping the shoe lightweight and race-day ready.
A full-length carbon plate embedded in the midsole contributes even more spring and energy return. This plate propels you forward as you run, helping you move faster while improving running efficiency.
