The Altra Experience Wild has gained a loyal base of trail runners and hikers over the years. Now, with the Experience Wild 3+, runners can enjoy the same lightweight feel, durable build, and bouncy foam, with even more grip to keep you secure and safe on technical terrain.

The Experience Wild 3+ maintains many of the beloved features found in the standard Experience Wild 3, including the light and responsive EGO P35 midsole, a subtle rocker shape for smooth and efficient toe-offs, and a wide foot-shaped upper for natural toe-splay and comfort. Like the Experience Wild 3, the upper is made from a premium mesh upper, while the construction itself features a low 4mm drop for natural foot placement and exceptional groundfeel.

The biggest change between the Experience Wild 3 and Experience Wild+ can be found in the outsole and grip. While the former features Altra’s proprietary MaxTrac outsole, the latter incorporates a Vibram MegaGrip outsole for maximum grip and traction no matter where your adventures take you. This new grippy rubber outsole adds even more security on both wet and dry surfaces, while the traction lug design and integrated toe bumper offer extra protection and durability so you can take on even more miles of rugged trail worry-free.
