Give Puma a Go

I have never run in Puma’s prior to the Deviate Nitro 2. I was skeptical when Marathon recommended them to me but they were comfortable in the store so I gave them a try. Here is what I will say: Excellent cushion but still some “pop” and responsive; The tread is excellent in winter and raining weather; They are durable but not overly layer; the feel of the shoe on is very comfortable. Only thing I might want to see different is a little more stability or width to the sole and perhaps an overlay near the toe (when it’s rainy your toes get wet quick). Bought a second pair of these. Worth someone trying for the first time if the specs work.

Racing Shoe Meets Daily Trainer

My feet have never really enjoyed the feel or fit of carbon-plated running shoes until I tried the Puma Deviate Nitro 2. This shoe combines two things I look for in a trainer and racing shoe -- feeling fast but also offering some plush, soft cushion. An added bonus is I just ran my fastest road 5k in over 5 years wearing these shoes!
