Asics Unisex Superblast 2

I got these shoes just in time for my first half marathon and I had so much fun running in them! They are supportive and bouncy, so definitely good for long distances.

Love these so much. I like them more than the first version! I use them for easy and long runs for marathon training. They are good also for doing some workouts. Already bought a 2nd pair!

These shoes are just what I was looking for. Light, responsive, cushioned. They’re the first thing I grab for recovery days and can’t wait to take them out on long runs.

Great shoe - runs a tad small

best daily trainer/long run shoe!

I’m a heavy runner 6’2 220lb. So I put more force into shoes than the average runner even at 9 min mile pace. These shoes handle everything I can throw at them. I have medium arches normal width foot. These are true to size with half a thumbnail width from my longest toe. I have 3 pairs of the superblast 1 and these did not disappoint. If you enjoyed version one, you will enjoy these. Improvements: Fit is more TTS Softer without breaking Outsole is grippier

Super comfortable with a spring of energy and bounce. Use these for my medium to long runs and my legs always feel great during and after!

Great shoe. I wish there was a Superblast that had 2/3 the stack height, then I think it would be perfect. It is a big stack or foam - very plush.

Can’t say enough about how easy, simple, fast and efficient Marathon Sports are!!!! Highly recommend. The shoe, given my foot, was too narrow, and was returned unused. But it looks great, felt great - just not for me! If you have a wider foot, it may be snug. Which is odd as I have the Sky Paris and it is fine. Enjoy!

Light and bouncy. This shoe can handle all types of runs from easy to long tempos. The updated FF turbo+ is softer but still bouncy. Using it in the early stage of my marathon build, and feel it is perforect for those long runs blended with tempo miles. It is less agressive than carbon shoes on easy pace while can still push forward when picking up paces.

I love these shoes, I use them for so many different distances and speeds. They are fast but also comfortable enough for easy/recovery runs but also lots of fun. Exactly what I needed in the middle of my marathon training program to boost spirits.

After wearing the Novoblast 4 for the majority of my training runs prior to the 2024 Berlin Marathon, a member of the Marathon Sports Norwell Store (Sam), mentioned that I might want to try the ASICS Superblast 2 as I was in search of a shoe with a little more support. Getting my hands on a pair proved to be quite challenging until the Norwell store got a few pair in and I was lucky to try them 3 weeks before the Berlin Marathon. I noticed an immediate improvement in my pace. I shaved a full minute off of my marathon pace! Wearing these shoes is such a joy! I love their bouncy, positive return and tremendous support. They make me want to run faster because they are fun to run in. Less pressure on my quads, too. Running in them gives me an effortless feel to my running. I immediately put 14 miles on my first pair and enjoyed every mile. In terms of sizing, I sized up a half size and the fit is perfect. I wear size 8 in women’s running shoes and I went with a unisex size 6.5 in the ASICS Superblast 2. So if you are looking for THE PERFECT super shoe to increase your speed look no further! This is it! Proof of the importance of listening to the Marathon Sports staff very closely. They KNOW what they are talking about! Many thanks to Sam and the Norwell Marathon Sports store! By the way I was thrilled to find the “Mermaid” version of this shoe at the Berlin Marathon expo. Now if only we could get ASICS to sell the Mermaid Superblast 2 in the USA!

I’ve ran just about 200 wonderful miles in these. Long, workout, and easy miles get soaked up by these. I would highly recommend getting these!

These shoes are worth every ounce of hype. Tons of room in the toe box, great for every kind of run.

softer and a little smaller than the SB1. can use from easy-threshold. Great for longruns

Fits a little larger than my adidas/hoka running shoes. Im a 9.5 in those but needed a 9 in these asics. Have put 100 miles on them so far and loving the performance

At 115+ miles of different workouts the SB2 showed that in this category of SuperTrainers they stand as the best option for runners BUT, there’s something about the OG version that stands out and I really miss, the pop. OG’s are more snappier and more comfortable at higher paces than the 2’s And the end… no body beats with the OGs or the 2s.

When a shoe is great it’s always a concern when they update it. ASICS didn’t change the basic idea with the superblast but just slightly improved them. The upper is softer and looks nicer. I can’t tell a lot of difference in the foam. It feels very similar though it suppose to be improved. The ASICS grip on the bottom is better and the lack of the tunnels that collect rocks a a big improvement. These are my favorite long run shoes, but they are more than capable of doing any run.

High cushion lightweight. Do it all shoe. Firmer cushion that provides a bouncier ride.

This lived up to the hype. I?ve previously used the novablast 3 and was looking to upgrade that experience. The shoe has one of the best fits from all the shoes I?ve tried. Way better than any shoe I?ve tried. Great lockdown. Definitely true to size. Roomy toe box. Significantly better ride than the NB3. Grip is so much better.

Perfect long run sneaker , especially if you like turning up the pace. Feels protective , yet responsive. Sizing wise I would go up a half size.

Super fun and fast shoes. Work best for long runs with speedier efforts mixed in IMO.
