Have you ever wanted to participate in a 5K event but didn’t think you could do it? Have you tried the C25k app just to be unsuccessful? Would you consider participating in a 5K program if you knew that you COULD be successful? CC Healthy Connections and Marathon Sports would like to help you achieve that goal!
RRCA certified running coach Deanna Desroches will guide you from warm-ups to cool-down with a great work out in between! This Program is geared towards beginner runners but all are welcome to join. The goal is to run between 11-12 min miles without stopping for the 3.1 miles.
What you will receive with this program:
Group instruction 2x weekly (Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6pm) x 9 weeks with certified instructor
Entry to Run for the Arts 5K on June 16th
Access to members only Facebook groups
Access to running gait analysis and custom shoe fittings by the expert staff at Marathon Sports
15% off merchandise (wearables not included) at Marathon for length of program
Group session with nutritionist
One-on-one private session with nutritionist
CC5k Runner T-shirt (please specify size when registering)
