SHOE UPDATE: Hoka Clifton 5

The much-awaited Hoka Clifton 5 has arrived at Marathon Sports, and we are big fans! Hoka removed a few overlays in the upper part of the shoe for a more streamlined fit and more breathability. Version 5 also gives you a little more room up front compared to its predecessor. This version has no major changes to the ride and cushioning, which is a good thing! Here’s what we love about the Hoka Clifton 5:

BREATHABLE ENGINEERED MESH

A few overlays are gone from the prior version which really opens up the fit and makes the shoe feel light as a feather on the foot. The engineered mesh upper breathes well and wraps your foot in comfort.

MARSHMALLOW-SOFT FEEL

This is why we love Hoka! Maximal cushioning without feeling sloppy. The Clifton gives you just enough squish without feeling like you’re sinking in too much – and the meta rocker technology rolls you nicely through from heel to toe.

LOW OFFSET

Although the shoe is super cushioned, you don’t lose that natural feel, due to a 5mm offset. What does this mean? Your heel sits just 5mm higher than your toe, allowing you to have a more natural and efficient stride. [LEARN MORE ABOUT OFFSETS]
